Helen McGinnis - Far out there.

Just to give you an example of how far out of it Helen's group is, she stated this in a recent post:

"I used to have this site bookmarked and visited it almost daily, but I stopped doing that, realizing that if another confirmation turns up in New England, it will be covered by the media and state wildlife agencies."

Well Helen, don't hold your breath.

Back in 2011, A group of citizens had a pretty credible SIGHTING (Yes that means they saw one Helen), in Matanuck in Rhode Island. The RI DEM wildlife folks went onsite and declared to them all (including one wildlife biologist that saw it), that it was a bobcat, and the deer it dragged of was a road kill by a car. Despite a bunch of witnesses saying the cat was huge, and had a long tail. DEM carted off the deer (hidden under litter), in the process ignoring the tracks and scat where the deer was cached. The residents were not happy, and called in the RI environmental police, who did a REAL investigation. The result? They found the deer had been ambushed in a backyard, and DRAGGED shoulders off the ground into the woods and covered with litter. It had chewed away at it some. The RI EPO also photographed the tracks, collected scat, and recovered the deer carcass and photographed the opening the cat made in the abdomen, and the bite marks on the neck. All this was submitted to various experts, including Mark McCollough of the federal F&W., who all declared this was all consistent with a cougar attack. The exception? The scat was turned over to DEM, and subsequently "lost". To this day, DEM still tells people there was never a confirmation in Rhode Island. So Helen, if you plan on hearing it from the wildlife officials in SOME of these states, you might as well be deaf. This incident was poorly investigated, and evidence was ignored and plain concealed. The EPO's report was thorough, and documented with many photographs of all the evidence. Its still there Helen, you should look at it. But keep in mind our group helped persuade the citizens there to not accept the DEM's position. Unfortunately, the DNA evidence was either not done, or hidden by DEM. They refused to allow anyone else access to the scat. Wonder why more are not confirmed Helen? Some of the other states are not at all subscribing to that methodology though. But suffice it to say there have been several incidents that were highly suspect. I am not a conspiracy theorist, but that Matanuck incident sure converted quite a few people into believing something is up.
