Amazing to say how much can change in three years. It was only two years near the end of the Summer did she call out her challenge. Many things have changed for the pack, and it was all for the better, not just for herself, but for them. The pack underneath their former Alpha were low on numbers, hardly ever active, and held no sort of ground within the grounds of Moladion. With her at the top their numbers had grown, the activity had improved, and already she had secured an alliance with the swamp pack and a treaty of sorts with members of a hidden organization. During her reign no pack suffered the onslaught from Flare, but more importantly, from Tobias. She, and she alone, brought a sort of peace within Moladion. And yet...no other Alpha seemed to realize such a feat. A pity really. Then again she did not take this pack for her own to bring peace to all. No, she took the pack to help its members become something and provide her imprint a safe haven.
The change in leadership was quite amusing and concerning to her. She had no idea why, but the Diveen King seemed to have disappeared and now it was ruled by a Queen. A Queen that had yet to do anything really. She expected the alliance between their packs to be fine, and yet, it was possible it couldn’t be. By now one of the Diveen wolves should had come by to discuss such things and yet no one arrived. Perhaps the alliance was still intact and yet, a courtesy meeting would have been nice. For such a young wolf, Hyrule, showed he was quite capable of acting like a true leader. Already he had come to announce he was now the new King of the Forest and she had proudly went to speak with him about their current alliance, pleased to see he was acting quite well for a new King. As for Iromar, well, that particular pack was quite good with the alliance and she was pleased everything remained intact.
As for the Mountains, well, they were a new ally and it was unfortunate that the former Queen came back and apparently had no interest in even tempting to discuss a possible treaty. Tick Tock didn’t expect much from her, the former defeated Queen, perhaps incapable to see that such an alliance between packs would be beneficial for both. The Monster did wonder though about Tithe, he had come with Tobias and she questioned him about his membership, but the Mountain pack stole him away, and now perhaps with the former defeated Queen back on her pedestal – he may have been kicked out of the Mountains.
Indeed it a lot has changed over the years and yet she would remain here with her pack, happy and pleased with them all. It concerned her that her own Samhain attempted to host a joyful puppy event and no other pack came to visit...and they would all be getting visit soon. She expected the packs they held an alliance would have shown up and yet it would seem...they disrespected their kindness. They would be getting a visit from the Monster so very, very soon. With the sun almost in the position to lower itself the Monster had managed to settle herself on top of a grass knoll that held a few trees to keep her cool. It would soon turn night and once again she would need to be on her feet to hunt at her imprint’s side should he call for her. For now though she would lie here and rest and watch the sunset, quite content and at peace with herself. As she laid her ebony skull across her paws, dark sapphire eyes stared straight ahead as she exhaled a heavy sigh, quite satisfied with herself and her pack.
