Peace in quiet underneath the warmth of the sun. Oh this was indeed quite heavenly. The older Alpha had no idea how desperately her body needed sleep until now. Other wolves her age would be sleeping the day of way, but not the Monster of the fields. There were numerous tasks to cross off her list every day and she preferred to keep herself moving than staying still for too long. She was quite proud to run this pack, pleased with her members, and she appreciated them. They were good. They were the family that she always wanted deep down. They were the family that accepted her for as she was. It was a pleasing thing to think about as she slept. She had a family that she cared for and a family that cared for her as well. She created a pack assorted with different wolves that walked on a different path in life and she proved to Moladion and all in the world that wolves of all kinds could live together in harmony. She had brought peace to these lands and sadly no one seemed to care. A pity really. As she slept her grey-trimmed ears twitched back and forth as she slept, still trying to keep herself alert for anyone that came. Sadly though she was too far fast asleep and quite comfortable underneath the warm sun. It was when she felt the sudden touch and pressure on her paws, did her eyes pop open slightly and suddenly close, opening wider again when she heard a squeaky and obnoxious voice ring in her ears. Her muzzle would open wide as her long pink tongue stretched out, her sharp white teeth glistened in the sunlight as the Monster yawned and spoke aloud, mixed with a low growl.
“Who dares to disturb my slumber?”
Her dial would shake side to side for the moment as she tried to wake herself up. Dark sapphire eyes, with speckles of purple, blinked as she got use to the sunlight. She would stretch both her paws forward as she began to stretch on the ground her tail swaying side to side along the ground for a moment. Her half torn ear twitched side to side, as she looked down below to see a smaller pup looking up at her eagerly. She would inhale for a moment catching the scent off the pup’s pelt recognizing just who the child belonged to. So, it would seem that the parents finally allowed their little ones to wander about. Good. It was about time the children got to learn the ways of the pack. Raising her head some she looked around for a moment through the tall grass wondering if perhaps the parents would be worried that one of their own was around and hearing nothing she returned her focus on the child. Her cold voice was softer this time as she answered the child’s question.
“I am the Alpha of this pack and I look over all my members, even you.”
