Any breed other than kalak was inferior, and had issues with the entirety of their being. There were a few that Akuji had come to... Tolerate, more or less, namely Apollonia, the Iberian fae who his brother had raped and beared children with, but she had proven herself worthy. Few did. Akuji had not wanted to come to this pack at all, but had done so at Caspian's behest, so that when Farant came, Katia would be far away... Would be safe within the boundaries of a different pack, with a leader that the clans had no sway over. How Caspian knew Farant, Akuji had no clue... Nor did he know why Caspian trusted the brute, or why this pack had been picked, and Akuji honestly did not give a damn. Though Cincinnatus sat upon the throne in Cold Summers, Akuji still saw Caspian as the rightful heir, not only because it had belonged to Caspian, but because Caspian was bred royalty. His father, Axel, had held the throne before him. The throne belonged to Caspian, and always good. But Caspian had slipped up and erred, his absence due to dealing with the clans leading to the loss of his pack. And now, it seemed, he had slipped up again in putting his trust in Lucifer. For a howl that Akuji did not recognize lifted up into the air, calling him. The previous pack meeting had ended abruptly, with Lucifer disappearing, and Akuji had no reason to believe that this one would go any differently. Still, it was here that Caspian had beckoned them to go. If the Alpha would respect the agreement that they had had with Lucifer, then perhaps he and Katia would be able to stay here, would be able to remain hidden from Farant until the Blood King returned to the hell that he crawled out of. Yawning, Akuji rolled into sternal before forcing himself to his feet. Katia slept at his side, for the two had been sharing a den together - Akuji's idea. Not because he wanted to take advantage of her, but the opposite - to ensure that he could keep an eye on her and keep her safe. Leaning down, he touched her with his nares. "Wake up, Princess. Lucifer's reign is over and we must see if we are still safe here." He had yet to tell her that he had heard that her father had returned from the clans... Akuji had planned on doing it today, but it seemed that they would not start their trip back until after they met with this new Alpha. Long, long limbs reached out and brought him quickly to the meeting place, a white ess greeting him. Akuji stared her down and gave a gruff nod, ignoring the brute who also was there. "Akuji. Who are you? We have business to discuss. Katia here and I had an agreement with Lucifer. I will never be loyal to you, but I am loyal to Katia. If being here keeps her safe, then I will fight your fights and contribute. If this is not acceptable to you, we will leave. Now."
