If there is one thing Tick Tock is capable of relating with other wolves, it was the fact that she was a Mother. She was a creature not only capable of producing and nurturing life, but protecting life too. Like any Mother she understood the desire to keep her children safe from everyone and anyone. It had taken awhile for her to allow them the freedom to roam around the fields. When she was Alpha for her first year, she was concerned that Jaidah and her older pups would sneak over and harm the ones she created with Tobias, ceasing any chances of the fields going to someone of her blood. She made sure to instruct her children to never, ever, leave her side or roam too far from their den. The pack knew clearly that nothing was to happen to her children and their future Alpha. She appreciated it when members of her pack would alert her to where her children were or when they kept an eye on them while she was busy doing her job as Alpha. That was part of the meaning of ‘pack’ to protect one another. Here and now she remained a Mother. A Mother that cared not just for her children, but the wolves that were pups when she was in charge. She watched them grow up to become the young adult wolves they were today and she was proud of every single one of them. Including the dirt-colored male that she stood in front of. Her cold voice slithered out softly, coldly, her words dripped with unwavering conviction.
“My children can tear the whole world apart with their own jaws, as for me, no one would dare mess with my own children – I don’t have to worry. Besides, my children knew the rules and they were raised in a place where there were many eyes. As for laws, they apply no matter if a child is missing or not.”
Her children came from herself and directly from The True Demon of Moladion. Her children were far more capable of any other wolf. Her children were blessed with the advantages she and Tobias had that kept them alive, that provided them the ability to survive. Her children of course would carry some of the flaws that she and Tobias shared, but they would overcome much, of that she was sure. Like any Mother she believed her children to be special. However, her children were already special and as a Mother it was not something she had to believe, because it was simply true. Her children knew how to protect themselves and she knew that although they would be considered a threat, they could both hold their own. Her children was born from true monsters and so she had no reason to truly worry for her children, not when they were close to becoming adults. They would find their own way, down their own path in time, but for now she would help them as much as she can. Knowing quite well that anyone that dared to mess with her, or her children, would see that their life would quickly come to an end.
The way Enya snarled caused the Monster to show her own teeth in warning. It would be wise for the stranger to stand down. Grey-trimmed ears were pointed forward as her dark cold sapphire eyes watched the female carefully. That she could control her anger was something Tick Tock did not believe. She couldn’t believe it. Here a stranger trespassed and made a threat against her own wolf and this was something that she could not tolerate. No Alpha could. Her dial would begin to rise above the other wolves as her chest puffed out slightly. Indeed she would understand what it was like to possess others and wanting to ensure their safety. Why else would she be here now? She was an Alpha that swore to be there for her pack and here she was. Her cold voice slipped out as she nodded in agreement and stating her own views upon the other.
“To go to the ends of the earth to protect you own, I can assure you we understand. As for our perception, I will speak for myself; you are a stranger that made a threat against one of my own wolves – a threat that needs to be eliminated – that is my perception of you.”
She remained standing where she was not moving an inch. Emotions could always lead another to get carried away. Tick Tock had no reason whatsoever to have any sort of trust for Enya. She would not leave this spot. She would not allow Galileo to be in harm’s way. Although Enya was beginning to calm down, the Monster remained standing firm and strong. It is the mention of Galileo and that she should stand down that causes the older wolf to stare at Enya quietly for a moment. Indeed it was time to go off and bring the mother to her daughter and yet the Monster still had no reason to trust her. For all she knew she could let her guard down and Galileo would be attacked, and she would never forgive herself for that. Galielo wasn’t an adult when she took the lands from Jaidah and she watched over him carefully, like she would if he was her own child. She cared for him, as she cared for all the wolves that called Asteraia home. Perhaps Tick Tock was a Mother in more ways than one. Her voice softly leaves her black lips as she waits for a sign that Enya was indeed calm enough to enter deeper within her fields.
“Galileo is the fastest wolf in all the lands and can take care of himself, this I know, but I am willing to allow myself in harm’s way.”
