I heard a Cicada today in my neighbourhood, first of the season for me.
Also in my backyard around 1 P.M. three shrews were foraging in the grass and clover of my backyard lawn. They were not full grown but weaned. They were near an old barn in my yard, where they probably ventured from. I think they were Short-tailed Shrews. Replies: There have been no replies.
