They'd been there a solid two days before StarShip decided it best they move on. It was around high noon when he'd decided this, and Tilian thought it awfully rude to pick a time so humid and hot.
"Tili, whether you want to or not, we have to get moving. Even you can't live off fish." Said canine grumbled from her place on the bank, her fur shiny and overly heated in the afternoon sun. The only relief she was currently getting was from the splash from the river, and she really, truly did not want to leave. They still had n
Come on, Star," she whined, rolling onto her back. She dully knocked away part of a fish before doing so, having grown tired of the fishy smell. "It's the middle of the day and this river is out only place of fresh water right now" She didn't dare tell him it was because she'd hoped someone would creep from the shadows. or that the fish were better company than just the two of them constantly.
Tilian had grown quite lonely since being on the mountain, had become bored almost. Granted, she had the bossy stallion in front of her, peering down his long face at her. But she knew even he must be growing old of feeling like the only ones on the mountain. It was frustrating almost, how no one else had approached or been spotted. StarShip snorted, pawing the ground with a black hoof.
"Get up, Tilian. The longer we stay here, the lazier you," he pushed his velvety nose against her own, his signature boop move. "grow. Now get up." And with that, Star spun on his hind quarters and took to trotting away, his stupid wavey tail swaying behind him.
The canine growled at such an act, having grown accustomed to it but still hating it none the less. She cast one last look at the rushing river beside her before standing with a huff and scampering after her so called friend, mumbling all the way. "Stupid, bossy horse..."
