The doctor concerned is a lucky lucky guy.

This is precedent setting - how he didn't get struck off is a mystery. Use freely if necessary in your own cases to argue against being struck off or suspended! Pay careful attention to the mitigation and those who spoke for him.

A distasteful business and a lesson to all docs, gay or straight (although being gay clearly seems to be an advantage in fitness to practice proceedings!)
