I have heard rumblings that they are going back to the solid tail sections next year which should have been looked at a while ago. The aero has become way to important and unless your about 2/10s quicker then the guy in front then passing is very hard! With the solid tail sections or shovel tails, the cars don't stick as well and the driver ability is a lot more important. These cars are on the edge right now and the aero has made it much easier to drive them and much more difficult to pass! Slow them down to the low 17s and with much less aero, the better drivers will come to the front no matter where they start. As for the money spent on the aero tails, you take that risk of rule changes every time you invest in different things on a racecar so that's all part of it!
