Le activity contest returns!
In this activity contest, you can earn belugas (like, the cute whales) just by posting IC. Yayyy! For every 100 words you write, you earn 1 beluga. You can combine post totals to make belugas, so if you write a post with 270 words and another with 530, you can claim 8 belugas.
Round-ups don’t really count as IC posts, but you can claim 1 beluga for every round-up completed. We might also hand out belugas for random reasons, like if you post cute pictures of sea animals on the Chat board and I fall off my chair squeeing.
Track your belugas on the HTML testing board under OOC. Keep track of any posts you write.
When the activity contest is up, you will be able to trade in your belugas for fun prizes!
Each beluga = +1 point, OR each beluga = 50$. Each beluga can only be used once, but you can mix and match. So if you earn 50 belugas, you can either trade them for [+50 points], or [2,500$], or [+25 points and 1,250$], or [+10 points and 2,000$], etc etc.
Because this is also a contest, there are also grand prizes for the biggest whale-catchers!

Contest begins today (18th August) and ends 18th October at midnight British time.
