Sighting just over CT border into Vista, NY

We haven't had a cougar sighting here on the NY CT border since 2009. But this evening in talking to my neighbors who abut the same unbroken stretch of forest that connects two large undeveloped parcels of reservoir and state parks, they reported that their neighbor obeserved one about a week ago. Vista is right over the border from Ridgefield, Wilton and Weston. Once I have more particulars, I will post them. I have charged up my infrared camera for a little night viewing.
