Diamant

As Kendry spoke, Diamant's ears flicked forward with interest, though otherwise he retained his tense, guarded posture. He pondered who Kasabian might be, but before he could ask, the two bachelors carried on talking, exchanging banter with a merry camaraderie that Diamant envied somewhat. He hoped that the evident kinship between these two was an example of how the mood generally was around here; it would no doubt make it easier for him to adjust to his new life if indeed it was always so light-hearted and casual.

As the conversation came to a lull, providing him an opportunity to finally speak, Diamant began to feel his anxiety at the unfamiliar situation ebb away. It seemed as though - if either of these bachelors had a mean bone in their body - they did not intend to use it on him. "Um, actually I came here myself," he finally said, his voice low and quiet. His amber eyes flicked back and forth between Kendry and Psychedelic, studying them both to anticipate their reaction. He hoped that that was acceptable; he had no idea whether the Lagoon was an invite-only kind of place.

"W-who's Kasabian?" he continued. "Is he the boss?"
