Chapter III Prophecy of Dark days

Her features are brightened as she looks at me with a happiness that warms my heart. She has grown to be such a beautiful wolf girl. I ran right for her, wrapping my neck around hers to give her that godly hug and she returned it. That… That by itself made me feel strange. That happiness for a fleck of a moment is suddenly shattered and I am finding regret taking me. This warm feeling. I pulled away and looked at her with pride and trying my best to hide that sudden change.

I’ve done so many things and promised so much, cursing myself to become exiled and everyone around me to be in constant danger.

- Yes, pretty girl… Look at you. So beautiful and so perfect.

I told her with a smile, lowering my ears as she said that she has been bored. And lost.

- Oh, sweet Inanna. Don’t mind the lack of interesting things happening. You’ll find your way and that requires time. But when you do, your life by itself will be great.

I assured her, walking to position myself beside her and look at her smaller frame. I my head lowered and I looked her over.

- When you find your way… I’d be so proud to look at you as a healer, a scout or even better. With such perfection, you’d be an amazing warrior…

I told her softly, reaching to brush against her side.

- Ha,ha! Look! You’d be great.

I told her with pride and reaching to lick between her ears affectionately. Oh, girl.. You get the best of me and you, my children. Even Everlast. You make me regret the decision for this life. I wish I could see you grow and Inanna you are the closest I could ever get to be a good father.

- Let me tell you a secret… An amazing secret. - I said softly - If you train and concentrate to show the sky that you are worth, it may give you the strength of the thunder. And there is nothing stronger than thunder.

I smiled.
