Indira didn't know she was holding her breath until her father's hard gaze softens and his face alights with recognition. She expels rush of breath and eases the trembling from her legs. Her anxiety melts away with Orhan's warm, concerned touch. She allows her father to check her for injuries in a subtle display of fatherly affection. She doesn't notice, until he whispers in her ear, that her mother and new baby sister stand distantly behind him. Her eyes focus on the duo and her heart leaps. Indira's ears flip forward and her eyes alight with the joy of this much-anticipated event.

The yearling filly has dreamed of having a little brother or sister to explore the desert and play pretend with. Being the only foal in the herd has been painfully boring for her. She has already imagined all of the adventures she and her younger sibling might have. She can't wait to teach the young filly all she knows.

After just a moment's hesitation, she launches into a trot. She greets her mother with a quick exchange of breath, but her eyes are fixed on the filly greedily nursing at Arcana's side.

The black and white mare listens from afar. She breathes deep, knowing Indira is safe but fear still grips her chest. Thoughts of what might have happened if Gabbar hadn't brought Indira home, or if Indira had encountered a less generous stranger. She almost cries out when Indira comes to greet her. As much as she cares for her new daughter, and is overjoyed to grow their family, she can't forget the love the feels for Indira. "Indira, meet your new sister. Her name is Evren.", Arcana introduces her daughters to each other. "Evren sweetie, this is your big sister, Indira." She shifts her weight for just a moment to pull Evren loose from her teat and give her a clear view of her older sister. After this she stands still, allowing her to choose between finishing her meal or greeting her sister.
