I live just off the waterfront in Barrie, ospreys fish these waters all summer I see them on my way to work around sunrise. This is also a good time to catch the large groups of caspian terns heading out onto the lake, they fly over my house in darkness calling constantly.Merlins and nighthawks passing through here in the last 2 weeks also.Despite the heavy daytime traffic, there are always exciting birds to see !!
