Regardless of her dismissal, Psychedelic’s attention was still absolutely absorbed in the tall, gleaming black mare. With his ears turned back against another foreign word spat at him, Psychedelic’s eyes gleamed in irritation. It didn’t take a genius to learn when they were being insulted, foreign language or no, and it wasn’t exactly the fact she was speaking in a way he couldn’t understand which annoyed him most. It was that she thought she was better than him and it got under Psychedelic’s skin more than he’d care to admit. The only attention he offered to the others was instinctual – ready to dodge out of the way or return a blow should any attacks come his way. Otherwise his attention was absorbed in her and by no means was it any form of attraction. The look on his face was downright mad fueled by a rage which prickled under his skin and made his heart beat two times as fast. The blood roared in his ears as he wanted to roar. He no longer wanted the lanky black for a prize; he wanted her broken. The muscles beneath his coat tensed, soft whispers of bruises yet to come faintly stinging, but before he could bully the mare there was a pinch against his flank which distracted him. Psychedelic stiffened, eyes flashing wildly, and looked at Kasabian who said his parting words and made to leave the scuffle. He wanted to disregard the buckskin’s decision but without Kasabian it would be two against one and while Psychedelic was angry, he wasn’t stupid. His attention from the mare would be diverted by her cohort. One last lingering look of hatred rested over her before he spat at the sand in front of them. “You haven’t seen the last of me, Legs,” he warned, turning in the soft sand and taking off after the fading figure which was Kasabian.
