Rules• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders. • Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission. • All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say. • Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met. • You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page. • Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce. |

 And its consequences keep you up at night. The tawny stallion's green eyes winced back warm salty tears as he struggled to stand from his laying position along the Lagoon's cold and hard earth. Kasabian had keep to himself for days now while he nursed the wounds that were inflicted upon him during a recent failed raid attempt at the Bay. He kept seeing his foes behind his eyelids whenever he tried to rest. Kasabian wasn't very good at losing. Tired and swelled legs outstretched across the hardened earth, shaking quickly and eagerly only once the stallion had managed to haul his heaving frame from the floor and into a standing position. There was still a stiffness and acute soreness along the small of his back where Nephilim had managed to strike him hard on the spine. It deafened the pangs from the bruises on his neck, chest and front leg, but he favored those sore spots too. That said, the pain was slowly beginning to subside, and Kasabian was feeling more comfortable with his ability to manage it. The last thing he wanted to do was appear overly weak to his recruits, whom seemed busy enough lately not to notice his temporary disappearance. His recovery period also meant a break for his dear mother, who despite her never having mentioned it, he'd noticed she was growing wider lately. She was clearly pregnant and Kasabian's mind was sick with fantasies about the child growing inside of her. Could that pest Gabbar be the father? He certainly hoped so. Perhaps it was worth leaking some sort of information to him on Salem to rile him up. Kasabian hadn't only breached his borders, but he'd robbed him of a mare carrying his child. But his thoughts drifted from there. Evaline had been a resident of the Lagoon long enough to have mingled with some of the soldiers. Could one of them had mounted Evaline against her will? Kasabian didn't know which outcome he approved of more. Either would suffice to quench his thirst to terrorize both his mother and the stallion who'd kept her. He moved slowly, and surprisingly not with much of a limp toward the communal pool at the heart of the Lagoon. When he arrived he was surprised to find the immediate area empty, even if the scents of several stallions still hung heavily in the crisp, though muggy, winter air.
