- adventure and exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged! residents are asked to use their better judgement and not travel to places that could bring them harm
- the head of the prairie has final say in all prairie matters. the secondary and third positions are not able to be challenged for and are selected by the head
- the guardians take on a more active role in the prairie; they must protect the inhabitants of the prairie and go on patrols of the prairie borderlines and shore. they can welcome strangers to the prairie and invite anyone to live here, though they must inform one of the leaders of any newcomers or visitors
I am the nightmare that became reality

Ruger

stallion | 15.3hh | EE aa TT | son of the wolf

Ruger was pleased to hear the sound of the stallion's returning call and thus he stopped, waiting for the stocky brute to show himself. The sound of the two-beat gate through the snow reached Ruger's ears first before the red form of Shamwari was able to be raked over by the wolfish amber gaze of the painted brute. The stallion was not the young lad that he remembered, but of course neither was he. At first Ruger did not say anything, waiting to be addressed so he could further understand the situation he had gotten himself in. Truthfully he expected pinned ears and snapping teeth but instead he got wide wild eyes and a few paws at the snow. Shamwari was wrong to think of the Lagoon as still holding brothers; he was only lucky that Ruger was no longer one.

"No" he said simply, bluntly as he watched the stallion much as a predator does prey. Ruger was not trying to be threatening, had no intentions of fighting, it was simply a nature he had come by from his father and one he would certainly be rid of if he could. "But we did share a home once." Ruger offered, not that it was very much help.

Blowing out a heavy breath, the stallion searched for the right words briefly as he was not the best with social encounters. Not like he use to be. Before when Ruger was younger he was overly confident, cocky and filled with a need to cause chaos. Things had changed since his younger days in the Lagoon and thus leaving the stallion as he is now; without purpose. "My name is Ruger, and I'm not here to cause trouble. I came in search of Jormungandr but it seems she has taken her leave of Luthien. Thus I am left with simple curiosity to why you are here and not in the Lagoon. And what in the hell has happened to the swamp?" So many things had changed in his absence; in his father's absence and Ruger wanted to know why.
