Friday night live

Even though not as much, I do keep an eye out here and wanted to post something I put on facebook tonight I feel is pretty important....

Well, here it is, almost the latest September could get, and it's a Friday night...and yup! Time for a live tune!

Usually we just just put out a tune that hopefully makes everyone happy and enjoys. But tonight, it's really kind of a special one...atleast to the racing community of Oswego.

Our die hard race fans around here have lived the roller coaster that the Oswego Speedway has provided throughout or lives. From being little kids, seeing the open haulers come through town every Saturday...while looking up to these huge heroes who climbed behind the wheel every Saturday night...just to turn us old time Oswego Speedway fans into what we've become.

We've raced our gigs as kids trying to duplicate the excitement they've given us all these year and many of us have continued the tradition as we grew older as the Oswego Speedway has become a weekly Saturday night tradition and a huge part of our lives!

After the Caruso era, there's always been rumors and worrying about if the speedway will eventually fade away like so many short tracks have fallen by the way side.

To the regular Oswego fan tonight, the track sure looks different all covered in dirt, but I've got to say that just about every true Oswego Speedway fan has that excitement back in their blood as the 2016 Super Dirt Week is about to invade the Port City.

Yup, there will be a few that won't go along with it, but as usual, the die hard fans will be right there, not only to watch the excitement of Super Dirt Week, but also to support and say thank you to Johnny and Eric Toresse for their commitment and dedication to not only keeping the Oswego Speedway on the supermodified map, but also raising the bar to loft the track to a new horizon!

Not to go into a political tirade at all, but I just personally want to thank Johnny, Eric and everyone at the Oswego Speedway for all the hard work...and making the Oswego Speedway great again!

I don't want to speak for anyone but myself, but this tune sums it up well from the racing community in Oswego...Thank you for being a friend
