I saw a mountain lion yesterday morning. South Spencer Rd in Spencer. It came out of the woods from the direction of Cranberry River, and headed across into the woods in the direction of Howe Park (the woods bordering the recycling center). I am without doubt of what I saw come out in front of my car. I'm sad that people are so skeptical, & have been fortunate enough to have heard from two other locals that they too have in fact seen a mountain lion in the area. Needless to say- this creature was massive, gorgeous, and a bit scary! I will be on guard and taking my two dogs with me on all hikes from here on out! Replies: There have been no replies.
