multi sightings Rhode Island IP: 74.103.253.58 Posted on November 10, 2016 at 10:21:35 PM by Jake
I live in North Scituate Rhode Island and leave for work around 430am. This past summer i was driving in johnston on pine hill road off greenville ave, just at the hard right turn in between two fields i saw what i believe was a ML crossing the street quickly. i stopped at where it crossed but couldnt find the animal which crossed the road. I am positive it was not a deer. and near positive it wasnt a coyote. Told a couple friends and got mixed responses. well this past week after the corn fields were cut on west greenville rd in north scituate i noticed the abundance of deer in the area. Monday alone in one location i spotted 8 deer in a group! I usually dont go a day without seeing one cross the road either! Well just today on my commute home heading south on west greenville rd just past winsor ave i had another ML spotting. the cat was not in a wooded area, it crossed the road and headed towards monswonsicut lake, darting between two houses! There is a ton of protected land surrounding both monswonsicut lake and the scituate reservoir where deer are abundant and hunting is prohibited. Ill surely be on the lookout for more big cats in the area! Replies:
