Massachusetts Postive DNA
IP: 50.241.112.193

As was posted, material was collected at the scene of a horse that was injured in Late June, in Petersham, Massachusetts. It was sent for DNA testing, and both fur and blood have tested positive for Puma Concolor (Mountain Lion), North American. This pretty much eliminates it being a "released pet" as has been the standard label thrown at confirmations. Testing is being done to determine if it was a male or female. Massachusetts Wildlife claimed there was no attack, and blamed the horse owner for its injuries. The injuries were from the horse hitting a metal object while in some kind of confrontation. But there were various scratch marks in the horse stall as well. There were other various incidents in the area at the same timeframe that should be looked at closer.
