A note to advise that a group meets most Sunday mornings (9am) the Consolidated Credit Union Place in Summerside for a morning run throughout the winter months. Nothing formal or fancy, and definitely not a race. It doesn't happen every Sunday but most. Distances and routes change, but the goal is to give folks a chance to meet and find a running buddy or 2. Last year, routes went from 5k to 20k but there was always alternate turn-back options for anyone wanting to do part of the route.
So, if you are in Summerside on a Sunday this winter and want to go for a morning run, feel free to join up. We meet in the parking lot near the main entrance. A variety of paces are usually there but, again, it is not a race...just some winter training for next year's PEI Roadrunner events.
