Re(1): Whistling Swans today

Hi George;

This is a great report to have 24 Tundra Swans (they were once called Whistling Swans) in our area at this time of year since most have moved south. Just wanted to be certain that they are not Trumpeter Swans which is the common swan now in winter in our area. Trumpeter Swans have been introduced here over the last 20 years and I often encounter flocks of up to 50 during the winter around Orillia. If these are 24 Tundra Swans then this report should be documented. Did you happen to get a photo of the swans that you could send me? Thanks, Bob
