They are tagged but I'm afraid I'm unable to discern if they're Whistlings or Trumpeters. Pls don't get too excited.
Compare these wild swans to the ones given to the city of Ottawa years ago by the Queen. Those ones were penned for several months of the year (ie the dreadful winter) and then released onto the Rideau river for the summer. My son and I could call them over for treats, and they'd swim right to us. White ones and black ones - so-o-o beautiful !!
