Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Somewhere in her chest her heart continued to beat, pumping blood of hope through her body. The two colored eyes that peered from the world watched the growing number of wolves with uncertainty. A beautiful voice had summoned them all there, but those who answered the call seemed wrong. She did not need to look up to feel the nature of two of the women who had approached. They wrapped themselves around the man with the beautiful voice, whispering in his ears. Her heart beat again, and she knew this was wrong.

She looked up at him. Her heart stopped. Suddenly their nearness to him seemed wrong. Not only did he not want them, but they were wrong for him. Cream ears flattened uncertainly. A soft growl began in her throat, but stopped before it came from her lips. She would not survive a challenge from these females, but neither could she allow this to happen. Her relief was evident as he stepped away from them and came to her, confusion was clear as well. When he spoke to her, his voice still rang beautiful and clear in her ears, confusing her further.

I was looking for someone, and I heard your song. I wanted to see if you call would bring what I was looking for. In a sense, it had. The void that had been created when Veli had gone missing was suddenly filled. She could feel Halcyon’s presence, his very soul, come into her and breath life and light into her once more. His chest exhaled, light swelled into her lungs once again. Light and hope. Halcyon… She sighed with a smile, her eyes lighting with understanding at his words. Her father’s story, seasons ago brought her comfort and knowledge to what had just happened. Suddenly, her face drew back into a smile, her tail swaying gracefully behind her. ...it is truly a pleasure. I am Solstice. Her grin deepened. Please don’t worry, you have nothing to fear with me. I will not truly take your soul, or your life, from you. I will be here for you, though. Like the tale Samhain once told, Solstice was a creature of love and a being of balance. The scales for Halcyon had tipped so she stepped forward to right it. Pleased and feeling as though she were returning to herself, she padded beside him. The weight of the world lifted from her shoulders she let her youth start to shine once again. Zelda? Zelda is my sister! Kind of. Zeltzin took care of me when my father could not. Her tone fell again at the thought of her father. He was still missing. Now that she knew the feeling of sharing a soul she could understand why he searched endlessly for Psyche, and she could understand why he had left his first family to try to care for his second. Solstice was not even the one whose soul was possessed, but she knew she would walk the stars if Halcyon had needed her to do it.
