So! The trial of Mallos and Rhaegar has concluded and the law banning the original fairies from reproducing has been repealed.
When a deity reproduces with an ordinary fairy, the resulting offspring are known as "demigods". For those of you who weren't around then, Gwythr stole Mallos' DNA many many versions ago and used it to create c. 30 demigod offspring, known as the "Mallos generation". Some of them are playerless and up for adoption (Jason, Ian and Osiris) so if you're interested in picking one of those up, head over to the adoption board to check them out. I also have a grandchild of Aura (Nephthys, daughter of demigod Poppy) up for adoption.
But onto the new opportunity. Zed, the god of Brazil, has been wanting kids for ages with his lady friend Rana de Leon. She's less keen but might be persuaded now that the law prohibiting them has been lifted. I'm posting here to offer out the opportunity to play their offspring, especially for those of you who weren't around for the earlier versions and missed the chance to bag a demigod back when Mal's DNA was up for grabs.
Zed is a god of happiness, good fortune, order, justice, the cosmos, protector of the poor, wards away evil spirits. He's the Intergalactic Ambassador of the Council of Originals (meaning he hops around a lot on different planets) and is Brazilian. He's a very decent chap, kind and helpful, would make a doting father. Appearance-wise he's huge (height and big-boned), black, brown eyes, with warm, smiling features.
His lady, Rana, is loosely based on Aretha Franklin. She's a black lady originally from the southern USA, c. 300 years old (immortal) with the appearance of a 40-odd year old, quite short and a little round. Like Zed, she's helpful and kind, always prepared to take people into her home and look after them. She's quite sassy and has a 'tude - she's definitely the boss of the relationship. Can provide more details on both her and Zed if people are interested.
If anyone is interested in playing a Zed x Rana baby, let me know. I'm open to a single baby, twins/triplets, multiple children of different ages, more or less any kind of plots/personalities (although any children would be raised in a very loving home). If you're interested in playing one of their offspring some day in the future but don't feel able to now for whatever reason, let me know as well. Rana could easily put Zed off for a few years or you could end up playing a younger sibling. I'm super chill about all this.
Demigod children aren't necessarily born with any more special powers than normal children and have no chance of inheriting divinity. However, demigods typically have stronger magic/greater control over their magic than normal fairies. They can also become deified.
The only rules for Zed's offspring would be
(a) some level of activity required. I genuinely don't care if this is only one post a month, but I would like this baby/babies played.
(b) if you no longer want to play the baby/s, quit/long-term hiatus the site or vanish forever, they'll get dropped over to me and I'll then adopt them out to a new home.
If you have an idea for another demigod child by a different deity, please approach me with a plot. I am very open to the idea of demigod children of any of the other deities I play (Gwythr, Tsi, Allianah, Charlton, Khasekhemwy, Lorraine), but some kind of plot would be needed because they lack the personality/circumstance to actually go out and reproduce of their own accord.
