Malignant Felicity is a paradisaical abode to the faithful remains of a mighty pack. Once ruled by the magnificent wolf Genocide, now the wolves of this pack follow the laws of the Alpha Lance, son of Sorna, Beta and Genocide's best friend...

The sounds of crashing water fill your auds as you enter this tropical paradise. The tall trunks tower above you. The treetop canopy's seem to shade the beautiful land from the sun's rays. What a paradise this place seems. This place dubbed Malignant Felicity. As you draw closer to the boarders a stench slowly devours the air around you. The stench of death.

"Beware..." scream the birds from above you. "She kills for games. She kills for fun." Something deep inside tells you to listen. Your body tells you not to go no further. Do you listen or do you dare move into the pack borders. This could be a life or death decision...

Follow the Queen, or become a corpse that lines her border. The choice lies with you.

She nodded to him and Akuji in return sneered at the ivoro teenager, not able or willing to restrain himself. He was just another inferior specimen of the wolf species as a whole, and now it seemed that in addition to Akuji having to deal with mixed breeds, he had to deal with mixed packs as well. Perhaps he was not one to talk, seeing as he had gone from Faraway, to exile, to Cold Summers and now here, but at least he knew the rules. At any one time you belonged to one pack, and that was it. This little shit may seem like an emissary, but it was clearly far more than that. He was far too comfortable in entering the lands without an escort, and more than that he was on friendly terms with the Queen. It spelt out disaster if nothing else, to be sure. Pack members were not supposed to only mingle with those from other packs except on matters of business, for then relationships like this one developed, and the line got smeared. Loyalties got confused and muddled, and perhaps it was innocent enough, until – that it – conflict came and the need for clearly marked lines and demarcations became clear. Then all hell broke out, resulting in a mess of chaos and destruction.

There was a time that Akuji reveled in such things – when he would cause such calamity, but not now. Now he wanted peace and quiet and for Katia to be safe. What he desired most was for his demon to be destroyed, or second best, locked away forever in an impenetrable cage with no possible way to escape. But the beast was just as much a part of him as was his coat and flesh and tongue – without the beast, Akuji would be very different in this day and time… perhaps he would even be dead. How many times had the beast saved him, if for no other reason than self-preservation? But if the war was over… what need was there for such a creature?

And Katia… she deserved better. She deserved a protector who did not in turn pose a separate danger to her. So much of his power and skill came from Perdere that he wondered how he would be able to do his job of protecting her without his darker half. Thus was the struggle, the dilemma, the conflict in his mind. And it had been on his mind ever since he had snapped into focus to find himself mauling her to shreds. Thusly, he did not think or pay much attention to the proceedings of the meeting. Afterall, what did he care about this stranger at all. But Katia… for her he cared deeply. And speaking of the darling femme, where was she? After their meeting she had been quite… absent. The only reason he had really replied to Motionless was because he was sure that she would be here… and more than that would scold him if he didn’t come. She wanted him to be a proper pack member here – for what reason, he had no idea, really. There were here for her safety… or rather had been here for her safety. He was here for her safety… but all he had brought her was directly to the jaws of his father… and then he himself had brought her pain as well. The only right thing to do… he decided… was to offer his life to her. It may be dramatic, but he had failed her. His life was forfeit, and it was hers to claim.

The kalak firmly set his jaws and came to terms with his own demise. She would return to her father and be safe there. It would all be for the best… and with Shae gone, well… it would be alright. Shasta had her protector in Horizon… he had become suddenly obsolete. Akuji lifted his head and nodded, before realizing that Motionless was talking. Lazily, his muds slipped over to land on her as she talked about a hunt. The titan scoffed and rolled his eyes before rising and shaking out his pelt. “Regretfully, I will not be able to join. I have some wounds to lick already and would rather rest.” Could he still have probably been an aid to them? Yes, of course. But everyone knew he was not particularly a team player…
