The male internally cursed himself at his stammering. He wanted to present himself proudly, but his voice refused to stay clear. A new feeling ran though his body when seeing the female's response. A smile, only slight, but it was there. The action lessening some of the male's regret, and filled his body with a bit of hope.

The she-wolf had once again acted first, introducing herself. Afterwards she apologized for her own behavior, and let out a tiny chuckle. Both her words, and laugh brought back some light into him chest. He found himself standing proper now, not longer moping as the light grew inside him.

Ritsuko... The male had whispered the name to himself, testing out the new word, and engraving it to memory. It was a pretty name, and it brought out his own little smile. He couldn't remember the last thing that had truly got him smiling, and wondered if the gesture looked awkward on his face. Nonetheless he now felt ready to introduce himself.

"It's alright, we both did something wrong," he chuckled lightly, "I'm Vyren. It's nice to make your acquaintance Ritsuko." Vyren liked the name even more, and stood proudly. He was glad that he took the risk, and went after her to sort out the mess.

Feeling the wind ruffle his fur, diminished his smile slightly. Glancing at the sky he could tell the daylight hours were waning. Night would be upon them soon, and shelter would need to be taken. It was too dangerous to be wondering at night, especially without the strength of a pack. Glancing back at Ritsuko he wondered if the female was native to the area, considering how they'd never crossed paths before. Getting to one of his know shelters before night would be a problem if he didn't start soon. Not knowing how close, or even if she had one, it could be a problem for her as well.

Vyren returned his gaze to her, and wondered if she had considered the problem of the approaching night too. He realized the two would have to act shortly if they were to avoid the oncoming night.
