Why go on a message board if you don't want to discuss it?
If you want it confidential then don't provide personal details.
To the idiot who you told you not to provide further details if you mention a serious professional misconduct issue at appraisal you waive your right to confidentiality as patient safety comes first...
Are you a deanery trainee? Don't you have a clinical or educational supervisor to discuss the mistake with?
