This is sad, but unfortunately it has been a long time coming. Innovation has been the backbone of this division, but along with that has come tremendous cost. Nobody wants to have to spend what the top teams are spending to be competitive, and nobody wants to run for 11th every week. The aero aspect of these cars has killed the long term outlook for the Supers IMO... but at this point how do you go back to anything reasonably affordable?

Personally I'd rather watch a full field of cars running 18 second laps than watch a dozen cars running 16.8 in a straight line...
