As a few of you already know, my dad has been fighting cancer for the last few years, having been first diagnosed in 2015. We were told he was in remission last year, however, there have been a number of complications since, a few of which required surgery. When they attempted to operate on him on the 2nd, they discovered a large mass behind his stomach. Biopsies and CT scans have shown that the cancer is back, and has progressed. He is terminal, with 3 to 6 months left without chemo, and up to a year with it. He has decided to undergo chemo, hoping to stay with us for as long as possible, and definitely long enough to see my little sister, who got engaged in December, married.
As you can probably imagine, things are a little insane. Not only are we all kind of reeling from the news, but I'm a bridesmaid for my sister and she has now moved her wedding up by 4 months from July to next month to ensure dad will be able to be there, and in well enough condition to walk her down the aisle.
That being said, I'm a little desperate for a creative outlet, so I'm planning to do posts as often as possible when I'm up to it. My current plans for replies are below! I'm thinking I may keep my post list to one per character for now (except Tor, until his current threads are finished at least).
