Forced to work weekends in eye cas?

Leicester Royal Infirmary are forcing all its staff grades, associate specialists and fellows to work weekends in eye casualty to cover increasing demand on a rota basis. These sessions used to be covered by the SPR and consultant on call.

Is this happening elsewhere?
