Perhaps it was a little mean of her to scare her best friend this way, but the prankster in her simply couldn’t resist such a juicy opportunity and ultimately she knew he would find it amusing… in a few months or so at least. She had to fight back a laugh as she slunk back up to the entrance of the cave, already picturing the look on Rhaegal’s face as she grumbled and scraped her dull claws against the hard walls. What she had failed to expect was that her friend would come barreling out from the darkness like a bat out of hell and that she was directly in his path. She had almost no time to think about this as she heard him shout her name, something she would come to dwell on later, and he appeared from the shadows.
They collided hard and she let out a loud
For a moment she paused at the entrance, letting her eyes adjust back to the light which had temporarily blinded her and her smile widened as Rhaegal came back into view. She couldn’t help but reminisce on how concerned for her he had been, not for himself but her. He had called out her name in fear, it is something that will stick with her the rest of her life and she realized in that moment she would have done the same for him. She leaps ahead up onto a wide rock that could easily hold the two of them, and then bows down to look into his green red-rimmed eyes rather seriously holding his gaze for a moment. She then proceeded to flop down and flip onto her back so that he now appeared to be hanging from the ceiling of the world.
