I remember four observations of Snowy Egrets in Simcoe over the years. Watch in fall for young Snowy Egrets since they don't have the distinctive colour on the feet and legs as the adults. We have about the same number of reports for Cattle Egrets for Simcoe. Great Egrets, I would now call common in Simcoe County now with more nesting and roosting locations. We still need to stay well back from the heron nests when viewing the egret. Replies:
