This morning seen a small Painted turtle crossing the road. It decided to rest in the middle and a truck was coming so I pointed to the turtle and the driver steered to the far right. I guided the turtle to where it was going to the grass on the other side of road. It was about 5 to 6 inchs long. It stayed near the edge and I got to look at it for awhile. Tiny Lafontaine.
