Koray
Koray was faintly aware of Vita Nova's protests behind him, but he paid them no attention. All his attention was focused on the stallion before him - the threat - to see what he would do. With his muscled neck arched and ears twisted back like horns, Koray could only hope that he looked threatening enough to deter his rival from attacking him. While he had no qualms with fighting if need be, Koray was untried in fighting against another stallion. He may have had a 100% success rate in his brawls so far, but they had been against mares.
He had a feeling this stranger would prove more of a challenge than Oswin or Evren had.
Then the stranger's teeth flashed through the air in the direction of his leg. Koray jumped backwards in surprise and bumped into Vita Nova again, his rear hooves scraping for purchase against the incline of the water's edge. His heart hammered in his chest and he tensed in anticipation of another attack, but none came. It had been a warning, he realized, and the stallion's words confirmed this with an ominous promise. Empty threats, he tried to reassure himself. The stranger had just met Vita Nova; surely there was no reason for him to already be invested in her well-being.
Koray snorted hard in response. "Go stick your nose in someone else's business," he retorted, before warily turning to the side and bumping Vita Nova with his snout. "Let's go."
