GUIDELINES

- the Prairie stands as a symbol of peace and prosperity among the islands
- anyone is welcome to live here so long as they do not bring harm to the Prairie or any of it's residents
- adventure and exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged! residents are asked to use their better judgement and not travel to places that could bring them harm
- the head of the prairie has final say in all prairie matters. the secondary and third positions are not able to be challenged for and are selected by the head
- the guardians take on a more active role in the prairie; they must protect the inhabitants of the prairie and go on patrols of the prairie borderlines and shore. they can welcome strangers to the prairie and invite anyone to live here, though they must inform one of the leaders of any newcomers or visitors
Live through this lie

Was I left behind?
Tell me, tell me I survived.

I continue to breathe hot exhales into my daughter's mane, watching the wispy strands bounce across her topline in the wake of my breathes. It feels so good to see her again after all this time, but the worry is a constant. Dreadbite was aloof, to say the least. The mare came and went as she pleased. It seemed unlike her to leave her child behind, however, which made my stomach churn into tight knots. I flash Bri a worried look, but smile weakly as I see her interact with Melusine. I silently thank her for this.

Melusine seems relatively unamused about the whereabouts of her mother, and for now I'm content with keeping the filly happy. "I should go look for her." I say, bumping my daughter on her rump with my chin and looking to Bri again. "Jabari, your brother, is resting. Don't worry, he's be up and ready to pester you in no time." I say with the gentle flick of my tail.
