Audit = rubbish work
How many consultants out there do regular audits THEMSELVES to improve their practice? Answer: None. They always get their juniors to do this on their behalf. If you are really SERIOUS about improving YOUR patients care then YOU have to audit YOUR work and don't pass this to your slaves for the sake of good feedback at the end of the year; or to add more CV points !!
Of course there is some issues with each department that might need to look at but this should be the administration's responsibility to review and audit to improve. Replies:
