Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Luna stopped once she spotted the the steep mountain and gazed at it for a moment. You really had to admire a few sights here and there, you may not get a chance to see it the same again. Knowing that trying to climb up there was dangerous just by the looks of it, there was no way she was going up there without assistance! Well, Luna already had the assistance she needed anyway. Her currently clear back was changed to wings slowly appearing there.

Opening them and smirking, she crouched before flapping them before taking to the air. Not really the sky yet, thinking of what she might find. Her black collar slightly irritated her since the metal piece would keep rubbing and the pointed tip. Having a beautiful jewel would be much better than this! Taking flight and landing on the dangerous peak, cer coat was thicker so any of the cold did not effect her.

The Larger than the average female look around, digging in a few places and looking rather hastily. Of course, who wouldn't be excited? It didn't take long before finding one stone. Her sense of greed for the beautiful little rocks was yet to be satisfied, and continuing to search before giving in. I guess one should be good enough? Maybe come back a few times to snatch some more, but today may be not so plentiful. Plopping down and sliding the stone to her with her paw. Inspecting them, Luna recognized that it was a fire opal. Just finding something that matches your color coat was probably more common than what you would think.

She took both into her mouth and stood up to take herself back to Equestria, ready for another long flight.
