[ooc] Sorry, so rusty!! >.< [/ooc]

Poppy shifted anxiously, still holding her pot of gold, before dashing back out into the rain to stow it under a nearby table; this seemed to contain the rainbow somewhat too, which meant that for now she wasn't quite so blatantly out of place. She heaved a sigh of relief, dashing back to cover as a loud boom of thunder rocked the sky. Her momentary panic stifled a bit - though she couldn't shake her paranoia - she gave the man a small, anxious smile and answered his earlier question.

"A bad moment?" she repeated, casting a glare towards the sky. "More like me having a moment, period." Her shoulders slumped a bit; everyone seemed to think divinity was such a boon, something desireable, but when you couldn't control it, it was more a curse than a blessing. She cast a look towards the man as he explained he'd been away from Shaman for a time, only just returning. Aside from this accidental jaunt to Earth, Poppy hadn't left Shaman in quite some time. She missed the wandering sometimes - especially when she'd failed spectacularly at something - but she'd resolved to be a good mother to Eselda, and that meant having a stable place. She wouldn't mess up with Zel like she had with the girl's twin, or her other siblings...

"Nice to meet ya," Poppy said when the man gave his name, then sighed again as he asked if she was a leprechaun. Amusement flickered in her eyes for a moment, though, as she replied. "Not intentionally, my magic's a bit... unpredictable. Couldn't call if it I tried, but it has a way of popping up when I least expect it. Such as when I'm in a place I decidedly should not be."

She leaned forward a bit, looking left and then right, as if to make sure she hadn't been followed... Then, abruptly, slapped her forehead with her hand. She was a level seven fairy, for goodness sake! Her face scrunched up as she fought to focus; for an unbearably long time it seemed nothing was going to happen, but after a long moment her olive skin became pale white with freckles, her bright blue eyes a muddy brown, and her copper brown hair turned a rather mousy shade of brown. Her lean frame became comfortably round, her height diminished to just short of 5'1". Resting a hand on her new stomach, she let out a blissful sigh.

"That's much better," she said, deciding to ignore the fact that there were those out there who might be able to tell who she was through other means.
