Falls

He remembered a time when the falls had become his home after being forced to leave from the forest. His dad had lost is strength to keep it going and despite one last desperate attempt to take back what he thought was rightfully his, Lyden had failed. The disappointment and fear that raged through his home was both overwhelming and concerning. Instead of following his father to where-ever he ended up, most of the mares stayed. Asp inherited the forest that day and most everything within it. Victory collided with sorrow that day, and as for Alexander - all he felt was resentment.

"oh! Hello! are the words that the beautiful mare spoke bringing his thoughts back to the present. Alex smiles as she nervously expresses her gratitude for the compliment and offers her name. She either wasn't use to compliments or males speaking to her in a friendly manner. The thought made Alexander curious as to where she came from and how she had been treated as a young child.

"you're welcome" came out of his mouth easily as his right ear twisted and turned inward. "i'm Alexander, Alex for short" he breathes just as his blue eyes move away from Dyami and back to the urgent waterfall crashing just a few feet in front of them. Alexander dreams of finding a home that housed a waterfall much like this one. He traveled for a short while to explore different areas within the islands and even some outside. His efforts had fallen short however- leaving him frustrated and anxious. "do you like it here?" Alex asks the young girl next. Curiosity generally claimed the best of him which is probably why he hadn't settled somewhere.
