Falls

She was very much happy that he had accepted his new nickname so well and by the look to his pale face and the brightening of those blue eyes he was very much in agreement. It made her own eyes sparkle with their own excitement. Zev presses for her name, and she visibly stills; had she forgotten such a detail? Her mother had hardwired manners into her only daughter so it was shocking to Feray that she would forget such a small thing. Quick to recover, she beams at him with her sweetest smile. "Call me Feray," she softly speaks, her voice carefully sounding her name out for his ears to hear and pronounce correctly. Boy would this get confusing once she got home, her and her brother's name sounded almost the same. He was the ember moon and she the radiance of the moon; the moon children of the desert. Feray came up with that, much to her mother's amusement.

Zev's voice brought her from her thoughts, her ears instantly perking up at the words that flow from his mouth; he knew where Salem was?! Feray wants to rush him and embrace him but holds back on tense legs that are just begging to be set loose. This was defiantly some great news. Patiently she waits as he goes on, and as he does she finds herself equally as excited as he is when his eyes find hers again. Her ears listen closely, allowing the rest of her to fall into the blue eyes of his; so much like a blue sky that Feray can't help what spontaneously falls from her mouth next, "the sky is trapped in your eyes you know. No barriers, only freedom." Her voice was one in awe, until her ears confirm that she had said such a thing out loud and her expression suddenly turns embarrassed and she is quick to switch the subject.

"I would very much love to have you to journey with Zev," Feray looks at him but not quite meeting his gaze again as she stares at the trees beyond him; no, his eyes were a beautiful sin that made her lose focus. "Shall we adventure together then ? I can't wait to show you my home and all my favorite places! Come on," finally she allows her legs to move and they are quick to pull her up the rest of the bank and away from the falls, but not before reaching over to snip at the air rather close to Zev's shoulder and then again at his neck where her teeth tug at a wayward part of mane like a filly in play before prancing away on her long legs. Feray merely looks at him from under her thick lashes, a daring look for him to retaliate. Once he did she would run, straight back to the beach she washed up on and into the waters again. At least this time she wouldn't be alone.
