The inhabitants of the Dunes are advised that there is a risk of contracting sickness from the local food supply until the 19th of August. A blight has struck certain plants, and consumption of them may lead to colic, fever, and general weakness. It is suggested that residents do not eat any plants with discoloration or any other unusual features, as these may be harboring the disease.
Players have full control over this event and may incorporate this blight into their posts as they see fit, though this is not mandatory and players may disregard this warning if they so wish. After the 19th of August the affected plants will have died out and the risk will be gone.
