Would like to ask everyone to help support Turn The Palace Teal night on August 19th. This is an annual event to raise awareness of a terrible disease, Ovarian Cancer. The event was one of many that Mary Gosek started after her diagnosis. Mary was an amazing person who not only fought for herself, but also worked tirelessly to raise awareness and money to help others facing life altering diseases.
We would love to see everyone wearing something Teal color on the 19th! It would be a great tribute to Mary and all those who have fought this battle!!
We are also going to continue Mary's efforts and offer several fund raising opportunities. We will have a table set up this week near the Speedway entrance. Stop by to talk with us and see some of the ways you can help too!
We are raffling off an awesome racing quilt. This is our best quilt yet! It features t shirts donated by many of the current race teams and several RETRO shirts of your past racing hero's!!
We are also selling lap sponsorship's for both the SBS and Super races on the 19th. The cost is $10 per lap. Your name will be printed in the Eagle program and all the money will go to help continue Mary's programs!
Our biggest offer is a raffle of 10 tower passes for the race on the 19th. We are only selling 20 tickets at $50 each for this raffle! The tower tickets get you in the Speedway and you get to watch the races from the best spot available!! Refreshments are included too! If you don't have $50 find 5 or 10 people to go in on a square! Cuts the cost and makes for a chance at a great night at the Track!
We also have Teal colored t shirts and sweatshirts for sale! If you want to show your support and wear Teal we can help!
Stop by our table for these chances. We will be at the track on the 12th and the 19th! If you miss us you can stop by the Gosek Racing pit and Tom or Joe can help you there!
Finally ALL the money raised goes directly to organizations helping to raise awareness and to help people fighting these terrible diseases! Everyone who works these events are volunteers! They do it in the memory of Mary and all those we have lost!
