Rules � The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders. � Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission. � All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say. � Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met. � You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page. � Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

ARGENTO

�The future of the Lagoon, eh? You have my complete attention,� Argento replied. A lopsided smile tugged at the corner of his mouth; to his ears, Jaxon�s unnecessary formality clashed with his brusque manner and lazy drawl. He might even have chuckled had he not been so tired or still uncertain what exactly his counterpart had in mind for this conversation.

He thought back to the council he had called not long ago, and recalled Jaxon�s words. I will follow the leader who deserves it, the stallion had more or less said, and while at the time Argento had quailed at the prospect that perhaps it meant Jaxon did not find him worthy or respectable, now it seemed that the opposite might be true. Otherwise, why would the bachelor have sought him out?

Argento�s gut lurched with anticipation and other mixed feelings while he waited for the bachelor to reveal his thoughts. Much as Gent had no desire to lead, his desire to impress the other bachelors was just as strong.
