Tertiary center is generally more difficult to get in. Usually academic achievements, fellowship at famous centers and vast surgical experience are required, but it is not always the case.
If you are in the right place at the right time, you might get through with minimum requirements.
I know a trainee who got appointed as cornea specialist in a tertiary center without having done his fellowship, nor having any particular academic record. Replies: There have been no replies.
