I am the razor in the hands of your heart;
And I am the razor in the hands of God.
Evaline studied her daughter under a brief, but hardened gaze upon asking such a delicate question. Talya faltered, as if her brain was struggling to process the question. A single golden ear lobe flicked forward and back as Evaline registered the filly's hesitance. It would make sense for Psychedelic to train this one not to say much about him. If he was still lurking among the islands, then he knew he was putting both of them at a tremendous risk. Persephone too, just for harboring them. Though she assumed the mare didn't know who he was or what he'd done. Valve hadn't finished the job. She may have killed Kasabian, but Evaline knew well enough she so greatly wished to kill Psychedelic, too. There was nothing Evaline wanted more than to deliver her rapist to Valve on a gold-plated platter and watch as the rugged brute took his last breathe. She salivated at the thought, but was somewhat taken aback by her own dark desires and swallowed hard in an attempt to expel them. Evaline blinked in quick succession and flicked her blonde tail over her hocks as she refocused on their conversation "You look like a pretty little filly I knew once. But she was very, very small and young then. Her father's name is Psychedelic." As his name dripped from her lips, Evaline could barely hold back her innate distaste. But she looks to Persephone briefly, hoping this answered her question. Bob, she rolled over and over again in her mind. Psychedelic was such an idiot to choose such a moronic pseudonym. "My mistake, sweety."
The palomino mare feigned a smile at the girl and then looked back to Persephone. She tried to push the lingering, uncomfortable feelings about Psychedelic away for now and focus on another nugget of information that was mildly interesting to her. Persephone and Shamwari were allies. Evaline bobbed her head in acknowledgement when the mare mentioned she wished to pay him a visit. "It's always good to know that I can wash up on friendly territory, if I stray too far again." She says with a smirk. "I appreciate the offer, but if you know my son, you know how paranoid he can be. He's expecting me, and I don't want to send him into a frenzy if I delay too long." Evaline explained. "I would be delighted for the company if you'd like to lead the way." She asked curtly, allowing her gaze to drift to the filly briefly, once again.
Evaline took a few shaky steps forward before finding her bearings. She nickers to Persephone as she peers down a somewhat familiar, worn path through the Forest. For a second she is reminded of Asp again and that day he tried to herd her and her son away from the Prairie. She snorts at the thought and pushes it away. "How long have you been in the Forest, Persephone?"
