I'll Seek You Out, Flay You Alive


It seemed like the magic was even effecting her. For as soon as she had made her wish, she felt a calming breeze wash over her. She began to hear the trees creaking and wildlife moving about. Waves crashing and - A voice. It took her a second to realize what exactly was going on and process the voice. "Artemis. . .?" Her orbs flew open, as the moonlight peered down over them and made her already ghostly like figure nearly glow. She quickly rolled to her stomach, orbs wide. Was this even real? Or just part of her trip.

But then he reached out and touched her. There was a lump in her throat. What was she supposed to say? He had been gone for so long and made her feel so worthless. Time after time he would find someone better. Her mouth was agape for a second before she finally found the ability to speak. "Ju-Justice . . . I didn't know you were here." She said quietly, and she looked to the water that still slipped to her paws. She still began to wonder if this was just her imagination, though the hallucinations were never this realistic. She didn't know what was real and what was fake.

Then again, why would he be here of all places? There were plenty of pretty girls back at his home, plenty of poppy and everything else he liked. So why leave it all to come here? She looked back to him with dilated pupils. "Why did you come . . . Here if all places?" She spoke, her words growing bolder. None of it made sense . . . She came here to escape the hurt he had caused her, but here he was. Had he come for her? To see her? Her mind began to race with questions.





"One more word and you won't survive."
