Persphone smiled, pleased to see that her small request had gone down well. Silvanus’ kind words did not go unnoticed, and they warmed Persephone’s heart to hear. She knew nothing of this man who was her friend’s father, but the compliment was a touching one all the same.

“Thank you, Silvanus,” she replied simply, bobbing her head with a warm smile in acceptance.

Silvanus’ next question, however, came as something of a surprise to Persephone. Although she considered the girl a friend, she had not expected to be entrusted with such an intimate task – even if it just was to give an opinion and settle the young mother’s own sound.

It was certainly a pleasant surprise, however, and Persephone couldn’t help the warm tingle that continued to creep further up into her chest.

She ducked her head as she looked at Silvanus. “Of course,” she replied warmly. “I would be honoured. What do you have in mind?”
